what a relief!

I am glad that exams are finally over & i am officially free from school!
all the endurance and hard work are worth it.

& results will only be out next year.

so right now, i am back at work.
currently, i have no plans for the future yet.
probably, i will just continue working as a casual staff with rws uss foodbase first.

i was thinking of trying out for SIA next year!
well, we'll see.
So meanwhile.. i will just live each day at a time & wait for things to happen. ☺

13-14 Nov: Chalet with E-one & his family

Actually, it was a 4D3N chalet stay.
But i only went over the 2nd day & stayed over for 1 night.

Didn't took much photos because they had so many guests to entertain.
all of us were busy helping out around.

this chalet was organized by ma' boy & his elder sis to celebrate their mom & brother's birthdays.

And also celebrate the anniversary of their bro & sis-in-law.

"Happy Birthday & Happy Anniversary!"

Actually,
i didn't intend to stay over cos i don't think it was a good idea.
But after a long tiring & hectic day,
they asked me to stay over.
Because e-one had to send his mom to the airport early next morning.
.
so after clearing up the mess for the night,
he & i had to ride around to search for ma' contact lens solution + case.
if not, i cannot sleep! :(
We had to look at afew shop 'n' save, ntuc xpress & then finally bought it at 7 eleven.
by the time we found it & got back to the chalet is already about 3am.
------

i couldn't sleep well that night because baby alysa was crying & throwing tantrum.
but i still managed to took afew hours of power nap.

Kak Ct & i brought her for a walk by the beach.
So that she gets tired after that and take a short noon nap.

she was taught how to kick a coconut like a football.

overall,
it was a fun and good experience with the boy's family.

quite unique..

It is a japanese chain of italian family-style budget restaurant.

be prepare to queue.

cos usually they are busy with non-stop crowds.

ma' fave, escargot.

must try all those above & many more!

i know many of you are wondering what surveys am i doing...

i had been working for a market research company

for a few years already.

this job was introduced by ma' aunt.

an adhoc p/t job for extra earnings.

it's an ongoing basis thing for me so long as i am free.

so recently, they had a project on beauty products.

a briefing is held in the evening.

i was there at 6.15pm.

but waited for ma' friend, honey.

she was so late!

i didn't realized that ma' sandals has caused ma' toes to bruise & bleed

till i sat down.

Briefing ended early than usual.

cos the surveys were similar & simpler to understand.

a bunch of us had dinner together.

All ma' friends were late queens!

I was the first one to arrive.

while waiting for Cherie & the rest,

Cherie's grandpa saw me waiting outside

& invited me in to wait.

thank god Cherie's sista came after me.

so we set up and prepare the stuff for mini BBQ & potluck.

Each of us were suppose to prepare a dish or sth.

So i prepare Enoki & button mushrooms.

we used to be close friends in lower secondary.

All of us eat downstairs in the aircon area.

after sucha long time, it's really nice to see 'em again!

it's a great time to come together to catch up!

was kinda worry that the weather might turn gloomy.

a very helpful waitress..

am pleased with her service.

cos i'm pretty fussy about food.

i like this cute ribbon pasta.

the portion is enough for 2 pax.

we've ordered a pasta and the house menu.

house menu is like a 5 course meal

but small portion served.

the food is splendid.

prices is kinda steep thou.

total bill was $71.50!!!

i kinda like the cosy ambience.

it's not a very big restaurant.

but i think it's really romantic to dine in with your loved one

at places like this.

it's unexplainable feeling that i got when i'm there.

classy, romantic...?

the musik is so so italiano.

feel like i'm in spain or italy! haha (:

This place is located along the shophouses at Kampong Bahru Rd.

it is wonderful food at a very low cost!

before the chef prepare ma' Wagyu beef,

the waiter show me the freshness of the raw meat.

i like the fact that they are well-presented.

ma' first impression of the coleslaw is

it does not seems appetizing to me.

infact,

it is tastier compared to the mash potatoes

so don't judge a book by its cover. :)

i chose black pepper sauce to compliment with ma' beef.

i like it alot!

i had a medium rare Wagyu Beef.

it comes with 'Soup of the day" & 2 side dish.

funny thing is... we were suppose to study comfortably.

but the sky garden was too windy to settle down.

daphne, a graduating student from TONI&GUY.
i'm her cut & color model for her graduation in Dec.
So today's appointment,
she had to design & trim ma' hair.
will color when it's nearer to her graduation show.
afraid it might fade off cos of frequent wash.
i'm not planning to let her bleach it.
bleaching will allow the color to stay longer
but also damage the hair. :)

after ma' appointment,
we had a light tea break at iluma.
ma' fave hangout, Teadots.

we watched 'paranormal activity' on our netbook.
thou the sound system ain't that good as in the theaters.
but the part where the female lead got drag out of bed is freaking me out.
*shivers running down ma' spine*
its a true story & a dreadful one.

it was pouring heavily outside.
& we had to rush down to ma' office to submit the surveys.
got no choice but to ride in the rain.
thank god it's nearby.

all is good.

we ended up in town for late dinner!

it was raining cats & dogs.
even though i had an umbrella,

it's too risky.
so we had to walk back nearer to where we parked.

i was feeling damn hungwee.

Went to try out Madjack @ Paradiz.

what a disappointment!

probably the kitchen staffs ain't in a good mood.

the cream sauce is not nice.

not tasty.

i don't know how to put it in words.

in order to finish up,

i had to add alot of tabasco sauce & black pepper for flavoring.

tot's lemon sauce is so thick

as thou there's alot of starch added in it.

& the rice is too dry & tasteless.

what a long & tiring Sunday.
work at a dog show in Expo.
I was doing ma'self a favor & also helping ma' ex-STC mate.
she's working at Sg Kennel Club currently.
& needed some helpers.
Since i'm avail & can get extra earnings,
so why not?
it's quite an experience too.
i haven't seen so many dogs before.

this is where i am station at.
Ring 1.
i am assigned as holding ring steward.
ma' job require me to gather the dog owners/handlers & their dogs
before entering the ring.

you must be wondering why are they dress up?
these dogs joined the halloween costume contest.
& santa doggy w/ its sleigh.
